New sponsor and new colours for Sascha Lenz

German racer Sascha Lenz has announced a partnership with Apollo tyres, which will see him race in a brand-new MAN TGS wrapped in purple for the next two seasons.

The 35-year-old started competing in the ETRC in 2013 and has since won 11 races and scored 50 podiums. He finished runner up in the 2021 championship and third this year.

With the new partner on board his MAN, the goal for next season is clear: he wants to win the title in both the drivers and constructors’ championship.

“We’re very proud to welcome Apollo Tyres to the SL Trucksport family and we’re already looking forward to another successful season,” says Lenz. “With the new commitment from Apollo Tyres in place, our aims for 2023 are simple: to finish first in both the drivers and constructors’ championships.”
