Home hero Lacko hoping for the Most in Goodyear FIA ETRC
Adam Lacko won’t be short of motivation when the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship switches back to competition mode following the summer break.
With three rounds run, Autodrom Most hosts the resumption of the all-action 2026 Goodyear FIA ETRC season form 28-30 August, with Czech hero and former European champion Lacko gearing up to take centre stage for Buggyra ZM Racing.
The team’s communications head Jan Kalivoda explained: “Adam has already won several victories in Most. The great atmosphere can motivate him. It is the highlight of the season, and we are really looking forward to it.”
Lacko, who made a welcome return to the Goodyear FIA ETRC during the Int. Shell ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix at Nürburgring last month following a lengthy absence, is one of 19 Goodyear FIA ETRC drivers set to battle for success on the 4.212-kilometre layout located 70 kilometres north of the Czech capital Prague.
Hungarian Norbert Kiss, who is bidding for an eighth Goodyear FIA ETRC crown in 2026, said: “It’s the closest the field will be because the drivers know the circuit very well, it’s the testing circuit for everybody, a bit like Barcelona in Formula One. It’s always very tight in Most, but we’ve made pole positions and won races at Most in the past, so this is what we’d like to do in the future as well.”
Germany’s Jochen Hahn, a long-term Kiss adversary with six Goodyear FIA ETRC titles to his name, said: “I love Most and we go there and we fight. I am so many times in Most and I love the mentality there. It’s our testing track so we know it the same, like the tracks in Germany.”
Hahn’s son Lucas, a favourite for honours in the Chrome category for racers still in the early stages of their Goodyear FIA ETRC careers and without as many notable results, has added the Most round to his partial campaign in the championship this year.
“Nürburgring was not the best weekend so far for the results but you need these weekends to get back up,” Lukas Hahn said. “We want to push, and we want to come back stronger, we make a sign and we go forward.”
