Albacete hoping to keep up Goodyear FIA ETRC pace in Most

Antonio Albacete wants to make the Most of his performance hike in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship when the series resumes in Czech Republic later this month.

The MAN-powered Spaniard, a three-time title winner, headed into the summer break on a high after he banked 39 points during the Nürburgring weekend last month to move up from third to second in the provisional standings.

Asked whether he can continue his strong Germany form and bank his first victory of the Goodyear FIA ETRC season at Autodrom Most, the T Sport Bernau driver said: “You never know. We are in a good performance so I hope we can keep this performance and be in the front again.

“I’m very happy for the whole team and all the sponsors. Nürburgring was good for us, we hope we can keep this pace.”
