FIA ETRC Extends International B2B Presence
The European Truck Racing Association (ETRA), the organiser and promoter of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship has joined up with the renowned Black Book Motorsport organisation to expand its Business-to-Business [B2B] brand profile in 2018.
The Black Book Motorsport Forum is a premier event on the motorsport calendar and the only place to find teams, promoters, automotive manufacturers, sponsor brands and key service providers from across global motorsports all under one roof discussing the future of the industry.
As well as an extensive profile and article in its widely read industry leading Black Book annual, the FIA ETRC will also be represented on the Advisory Board of its Motorsport Forum which will be held in London on August 21.
The event is one of the premier business-to-business opportunities in global motorsport with second to none ‘decision making’ leaders and heads of series, commercial directors, and other key influencing personalities in attendance.
There, leaders in motorsport will discuss and present visions of their business and network with other successful motorsport businesses.
The FIA ETRC will be represented by Georg Fuchs, director of ETRA. Joining the comprehensive Advisory Board, which balances major promoters, race teams and sponsor brands to shape the format and strategic direction of the event, Fuchs joins CEO’s and leaders from Coca-Cola, NASCAR, Nissan, Jaguar and Chip Ganassi Racing among others.
Fuchs, whose comments on the growing status of truck racing appear in the current 2018 Black Book, will take part in the Forum alongside leaders from Formula One, McLaren , La Liga and IMG.
Evidencing the growth in interest and media exposure of the FIA ETRC since ETRA became promoter of the Championship in 2016 the Forum will be one of the key features of the day.
“We are delighted to have been invited and become involved with the Black Book initiatives and we are very much looking forward to the Forum which has quickly become one of the best known of its kind in all sport,” said Fuchs.
“We feel that to have the FIA ETRC represented at this event side-by-side with some of the biggest names in the Motorsport industry is a vital strategic step in expanding our horizons for future seasons.
“In 2018 we have taken the decision to showcase the FIA ETRC beyond the fantastic paddock that we have and out in to the wider horizons of motorsport and sponsoring industry. We want more future potential partners, more companies and more fans to gain knowledge and understand the supreme levels of sporting, commercial and fan experience values in the FIA ETRC.
“At the same time it is also a valuable opportunity for ETRA and the FIA ETRC to become and even a strong part of the motorsport industry and to communicate with other series and companies about what we do and how we do it.”
This approach is enhancing the current initiatives of the FIA ETRC and event organisers on a B2B-basis.
As an example, ETRA’s annual B2B Industry Event and ADAC’s Truck Symposium, which both take places this weekend as part of the ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix at Nurburgring, and also the TRP’s Logistic Forum in Hungary earlier this month brought together high-ranked decision takers and politicians.
