Why it’s destination Goodyear FIA ETRC for Herbold

Florian Herbold has made the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship his target after he launched a fundraising and awareness initiative designed to secure his progression to the all-action series in 2028.

Under to the Road to Europe banner, Herbold will contest the 2027 TGP-Meisterschaft in a Scania developed by respected Goodyear FIA ETRC outfit Hecker Racing before moving up to the Goodyear FIA ETRC the following season.

Herbold, who heads up the FH Racing und Event organisation, launched his alliance with Clemens Hecker’s eponymous team during an event at Hockenheim in Germany last month, which Goodyear FIA ETRC Chrome driver Hecker also attended.

The TGP-Meisterschaft is a three-event series based in Germany.
