Start-to-finish Kiss and Lukas Hahn on a high in Goodyear FIA ETRC
Norbert Kiss and Lukas Hahn were the big winners as racing got under way at the final round of an all-action 2026 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship season.
Kiss won Race 1 outright from his 13th pole position of the season, while Hahn led the Chrome category from start to finish.
Jochen Hahn and Sascha Lenz completed the overall podium, while Bradley Smith and John Newell joined Lukas Hahn in the Chrome top three with third place for Newell boosting his bid for the category title.
“It was a good victory, we had good pace,” said Kiss, whose victory was his 19th of the season. “The start was a bit strange because the green came really late and I barely see the lights anymore because I was so close to the lights, almost underneath. But, okay, we came through, good first turn and start to build the gap a bit. A good race, we were fast, so again, a good job from the team, Révész Racing. The truck was working very nice, everything was nice. We were confident, we had the pace and I pushed a little bit in the first two laps. I see Jochen cannot keep up so it was nice.”

Lukas Hahn said: “It was a really good race. We had a good start and Antonio was in front of me and José behind me. It was good, we had nearly all the same pace so it was hard, so for me it was just to save the position because I was first in Chrome. All was fine, I enjoyed and the truck was really good. It’s really difficult to overtake fair but I needed to watch for the Chrome championship and we are really happy, all was perfect.”
Behind third-placed Lenz, Steffi Halm took fourth with home hero Antonio Albacete rounding out the top five ahead of Lukas Hahn.
José Eduardo Rodrigues finished seventh to secure a front-row start for Race 2 alongside Bradley Smith, who will start on pole position after coming home eighth.
Newell and René Reinert completed the top 10 ahead of Mark Taylor, Jonathan André, Luke Garrett and Mika Mäkinen.

Clemens Hecker was a non-finisher due to a mechanical issue with Spanish driver Luis Recuenco pitted at the end of the opening lap with damage. Steffen Faas was a non-starter.
Race 2 is due to get under way at 18:05 local time and streamed live on YouTube and shown by broadcasters across Europe and around the world.
