Hahn sets his Goodyear FIA ETRC target, Kiss closes in on title
Jochen Hahn will renew his long-standing rivalry with Norbert Kiss during this weekend’s 24 Heures Camions determined to close on second place in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship.
While Kiss is 121 points clear of Hahn in the provisional 2026 Goodyear FIA ETRC standings, the IVECO-powered racer is just 16 points behind Sascha Lenz, who currently occupies second spot in the title order.
Hahn, who has six Goodyear FIA ETRC titles to the seven banked by Kiss, said: “Le Mans is one of my favourite circuits and we fight for second position in the championship. We were really too slow in the wet conditions at Zolder, so we must learn from these situations. But all is fine, all is good.”
Kiss, who can become Goodyear FIA ETRC champion for 2026 at Le Mans, said: “It’s the same like always, we try to do the best we can and if the title is coming then it’s coming. If we have some issues and we lose some points, then it’s okay. But I like Le Mans, it’s my favourite. I love it, the whole atmosphere and also the circuit itself is very nice and very smooth. I always love to race at Le Mans.”
