Lukas Hahn Chrome pacesetter again, Kiss fastest outright in Goodyear FIA ETRC Free Practice 2

While Norbert Kiss remains the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship driver to beat after he set the Free Practice 2 pace at Misano, Lukas Hahn is an early contender for Chrome category honours.

For the second session running, the German youngster headed the class for drivers with less experience with a performance that was good enough for the third quickest time outright.

His 2m02.044s was 0.914s adrift of the benchmark effort recorded by reigning Goodyear FIA ETRC champion Norbert Kiss, who outpaced Hahn’s father and multiple European champion Jochen by 0.634s.

Sascha Lenz completed the 30-minute session with the fourth quickest time as Antonio Albacete, a winner of three FIA ETRC titles, and José Eduardo Rodrigues rounded out the top six.

Steffi Halm, who finished the 2025 season third in the overall ranking, was seventh fastest followed by René Reinert, John Newell and Bradley Smith. Mark Taylor, the 2025 Chrome champion, was 11^th quickest.

Free Practice 2 provided the final opportunity for drivers and their teams to confirm their set-ups for the three-phase qualifying, which gets under way at 12:30 local time.
