Norbert Kiss has a 59-point championship lead after claiming another dominant victory around the Autodrom Most.

Sascha Lenz had a point to prove, after he narrowly missed out on pole by 0.089s, that had him start on the dirty side of the grid. He got a great get away and, learning from Jochen Hahn’s pass attempt on the Hungarian in Race One, waited until Turn 2 to make his move where he had the inside line. The patience paid off as the German got ahead going towards Turn 3, but later breaking from Kiss saw him retake the lead he would not give up again.

In the closing stages of the race, Hahn looked like he might be in a position to challenge Lenz for second, but in the end the pair crossed the line two seconds apart. This gave Lenz an additional three points, bringing him closer to Hahn’s second place championship position.

It was a quiet race for Antonio Albacete and Adam Lacko, who came across the line where there started, fourth and fifth respectively.

Téo Calvet had a clean race, bringing home another Promoter’s Cup win and sixth overall, but it was Lukas Hahn, who stole the show in the Chrome class, moving from tenth to sixth at the start and pressuring Calvet for the class victory.

Jamie Anderson repeated his last-minute dive from Race Two to take the bottom step of the Promoter’s Cup podium and reverse gird pole from Steffen Faas on the line.

It was another difficult race start for Steffi Halm, as she got tangled in a first corner incident with Albacete and André Kursim. Although all trucks were able to continue with cosmetic damage and no caution period was required, Halm lost a lot of positions going through the gravel. She managed to work her way back to tenth for the final points of the race, but it was another race of ‘what could have been’ for the only female driver.

José Rodrigues finished 11th after taking evasive action from the first corner incident, ahead of Kursim, Shane Brereton and Jonathan André. For the first time this race meeting, all 14 trucks made it to the chequered flag.
