Frenchman Jonathan André took over the wheel of the yellow Lion Truck MAN halfway through the 2023 season after the tragic passing of Anthony Janiec.

André joined the team as team manager and race engineer on the very first day the team was founded by Patrick Folléas in 2012.

A well respected member of the truck racing paddock, André comes with some experience in car racing, having competed in the Official French Peugeot Championship and Club Europa races with a Porsche. Whilst he hadn’t done any truck races yet, he has been test driving the team’s truck in the past seasons during winter testing.

André had his first outing in Most in 2022, where his focus was on gaining knowledge at the wheel of his MAN. The Frenchman finished fourth in the Promoter’s Cup class twice in his debut year. He will make regular appearances in the Goodyear FIA ETRC in 2023 as a race-by-race entry.
