One of the Czech Republic's best known racers, Lacko has a wealth of experience in GT and Touring Car racing behind him. He made his FIA ETRC debut in 2011 and scored his first win that season at the Smolensk Ring. He followed that win up with victories at Most, Zolder and Le Mans Bugatti.
2012 was a remarkably consistent campaign that netted two wins at Nurburgring and Zolder for third place in the championship as he continued to learn all about racing more experienced adversaries like Jochen Han and Antonio Albacete.
2013 saw Adam racing in a Renault but a distant sixth place in the standings was not what he was looking for. The following season in 2014 was better as he placed fourth for Buggyra International Racing Systems.
Six wins in 2015 was his best ever season but the dominance of Norbert Kiss left him well adrift in the points. the 2016 season was much closer as he ran Jochen Hahn hard and close for another vice-champion position in the final classification.
2017 was a splendid season for the Czech racer, whose one of the most memorable drives came at the damp Nürburgring. He went on to capture the elusive crown of Truck Racing Champion that year.
In 2018 the Czech was set to defend the title but his arch-rival, Jochen Hahn, got the better of him and Lacko eventually finished runner-up. 2019 Lacko celebrated three race wins and 10 podiums and finished third overall.
In the shortened 2020 season, Adam Lacko was in the mix with the front runners and scored two wins in 2020.
2021 was a bit of a mixed season for the Czech Racer. He was in the mix with the front runners however, scoring 10 podiums and a win.
