Bradley Smith and Don’t Touch Racing Gear Up for Lausitzring
Anticipation builds for the ultimate motorsport weekend at DEKRA Lausitzring on 24/25 May, where Truck Racing meets DTM.
In the lead-up to the big weekend, Don’t Touch Racing driver Bradley Smith got an early look at the Lausitzring during a joint media day, which included a photoshoot with a DTM car and passenger rides for media, offering a powerful taste of what’s to come.
“It was good to visit Lausitzring — first impressions are great. It’s a challenging circuit with fast and slow sections, so it will provide some exciting racing,” said Smith. “The DTM championship made us feel really welcome. It was great to speak to a few teams and show them around our race truck.”

Smith also had the chance to put journalists in the passenger seat of his 5-ton Don't Touch Racing machine — an experience that clearly left a mark. “The media guys really enjoyed the rides and came out with big smiles,” he said.
With both series known for wheel-to-wheel action and passionate fanbases, the upcoming race weekend promises to deliver an unforgettable mix of power and performance.
“The fans are in for a great weekend. Watching the DTM cars testing and seeing how close the lap times are already — that’s going to provide some exciting racing. And of course, the ETRC always brings the action,” Smith added.

With the 2025 season just over a week away, the British driver, who is in his first full season with Don't Touch Racing is focused on development and chasing strong results.
“Our goal this season is to keep progressing, learn all the tracks, and get faster as the year goes on. We’re aiming for a top-four finish in the Chrome Championship,” he said.
“Personally, I’m also looking forward to racing at Slovakia — I’ve never been there, but it looks like a great, challenging circuit.”
