2024 SEASON LINEUP UNVEILED

The best drivers and teams in Europe are gearing up to face fierce competition.

The excitement is building as the 2024 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) reveals its driver lineup ready for the 7 event, 28-race season, where the best drivers and teams in Europe are gearing up to face fierce competition.

Leading the charge is five-time champion and driving force in the championship's recent history, Norbert Kiss. In his #1 Révész Racing MAN he has been a benchmark of excellence, securing consecutive titles and setting the standard for his competitors. Kiss, who dominated the last three seasons, is out to defend his crown and add a sixth title to his glittering record.

Chasing closely behind is the six-time champion Jochen Hahn, determined to reclaim the championship crown. Hahn's Iveco has shown promising form during pre-season testing, setting the stage for an epic battle with his rival Kiss.

Eager to improve on his third-place finish from the previous season, German racer Sascha Lenz is set to challenge for top honours and assert his presence on the podium.

Clinching victory in the final round of 2023, André Kursim and his Don’t Touch Racing team are determined to build on their success. With a blend of skill and ambition, Kursim sets his sights on more wins and podiums this season.

After finishing third in class in 2023, John Newell embarks on his second full season in the Goodyear FIA ETRC. With a growing confidence and determination, the British racer aims to improve his performance and establish himself as a regular contender for class victories.

Returning with T Sport Bernau, Spanish champion Antonio Albacete, who secured a fourth-place finish in 2023 alongside several podiums, prepares for the upcoming season. Leveraging his experience and track record, Albacete is ready to launch a challenge for more wins and podium finishes.

A hot favourite in the Chrome class, German tankpool24-racing driver Steffen Faas aims to build on his success from last season and will gun for glory in 2024.

Looking to improve on his sixth-place finish in class last year, Clemens Hecker brings a hunger for success and ambition to the championship. With several podiums under his belt, the German racer aims to make his presence felt on the grid and challenge for top honours.

After winning the European Young Drivers Title and the Promoter’s Cup last year, José Eduardo Rodrigues is ready to continue his success and challenge for top honours once again.

Steffi Halm returns with the German Schwabentruck outfit, piloting her iconic orange Iveco truck. With a few podium appearances and close battles last season, Halm is eager to continue her momentum into 2024.

Spaniard Luis Recuenco joins the field with an overhauled Iveco, determined to continue his success in the championship. After securing his first-ever overall victory last season, Recuenco is eager to build on his achievements and secure more silverware this year.

Making his second full season appearance, Mark Taylor is determined to build on the lessons learned from his debut year and sets his sights on more success in 2024.

A familiar face joins the full-season lineup this year, as Luke Garrett makes his debut as a full-season driver. With experience and success from racing in the British Championship and his race-by-race entries in the Goodyear FIA ETRC in 2021, Garrett is familiar with the demands of competitive truck racing. Building on his past achievements, the British driver is determined to make his mark in the European series.

"We're excited to return to the racing circuit in just a few weeks," said Janine Meyer, Director of Operations at ETRA. "The competition on the grid appears fiercer than ever, promising an action-packed season of racing ahead. With the best drivers and teams in Europe gearing up to face this intense competition, we've had a consistently strong grid over the last few seasons, and it's great to see the continuous commitment from our teams."

The 2024 Goodyear FIA ETRC kicks off at World Circuit Marco Simoncelli Misano in Italy on 25/26 May with the first four races of the season.
