NWT Motorsport and its driver John Newell first joined the ETRC grid as a race by race entry for the last two rounds of the 2022 championship.

Racing in his #18 MAN truck, Newell has delivered some impressive performances over the past two seasons, frequently appearing on the Chrome podium and proving to be a fierce competitor.
